How to choose the right bowl

When choosing a ceramic bowl, the shape and size make a big difference to how it is used. Some bowls are ideal for everyday meals such as breakfast, soup or pasta, while others are designed more for serving or display. Handmade pottery also introduces subtle differences in rim shape, depth and glaze, giving each bowl its own character.

Made in small batches

Bowls are made in small runs throughout the year rather than large production cycles. Often only a few pieces of each glaze and shape are available at a time. Once a particular combination has sold out it may not be repeated again.

For every day use

These handmade bowls are designed to be used daily. They work beautifully for breakfast on the kitchen table, soups and pasta at lunch, or small dishes shared at dinner. Many people also enjoy placing a favourite bowl on a shelf or sideboard where the glaze and form can be appreciated even when not in use.
