Footprint Pottery is a small studio where each piece is made from start to finish. Clay is shaped on the pottery wheel, left to dry slowly and then fired before being glazed and returned to the kiln.

Working in small batches allows each piece to develop its own character while remaining durable and practical for everyday use.

Handmade stoneware mugs

A mug is something people reach for every day. The weight, shape and handle all influence how it feels to hold.

After experimenting with many forms in the studio, four mug shapes have become favourites. Each one is designed to sit comfortably in the hand while still reflecting the character of wheel thrown pottery.
